Decorated in monochrome pink enamel, the vase is of archaistic bronze form in almond shape. The body angled at the widest point, with a wide everted neck with flat handles in the shape of stylized elephant’s heads with vertical flanges in between, rests on a splayed foot. The body divided into eight panels by a strapwork of rased bands with lozenge-shaped bosses at the intersections, decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems tied with ribbons and matched with different flowers; the strapwork bears stylized archaistic dragons and roundels, with florets on the bosses. The foot has a ruyi border, all in bright rose-pink enamel. The base inscribed with a Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue.
